Position Overview

The Head of Physiotherapy Center will lead and oversee the physiotherapy division within the wellness center. This role is responsible for establishing treatment protocols, supervising junior physiotherapists, and ensuring high-quality patient care aligned with the center’s holistic wellness objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clinical Leadership & Protocol Development
  • Design, implement, and update physiotherapy treatment protocols in line with best practices and regulatory standards.
  • Ensure consistency and quality across all physiotherapy services provided.
  • Team Supervision & Training
  • Guide, mentor, and supervise junior physiotherapists in daily clinical practice.
  • Conduct regular training sessions and workshops to enhance team skills and knowledge.
  • Provide case consultations and support for complex patient conditions.
  • Patient Care & Service Delivery
  • Oversee patient assessments, treatment planning, and rehabilitation programs.
  • Ensure patient safety, satisfaction, and adherence to prescribed therapy plans.
  • Collaborate with other wellness center departments (nutrition, fitness, mental health) for integrated care.
  • Operational Oversight
  • Manage scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow efficiency within the physiotherapy center.
  • Monitor performance metrics and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
  • Liaise with medical professionals, wellness consultants, and external partners to strengthen service offerings.
  • Represent the physiotherapy center in wellness events, seminars, and community outreach programs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy (recognized by Malaysian Allied Health Professional Council or equivalent).
  • Minimum 8–10 years of clinical physiotherapy experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of rehabilitation protocols, musculoskeletal therapy, and patient-centered care.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary wellness environment.
