Full job description

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Quality Control Officer to ensure all food products meet quality, safety, and hygiene standards in our central kitchen operations. This role plays an important part in maintaining product consistency and compliance with food safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect raw materials (especially poultry) to ensure quality, freshness, and compliance
  • Monitor food preparation, processing, and storage activities
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards (GMP, HACCP, hygiene practices)
  • Record and monitor chiller and freezer temperatures daily
  • Perform quality checks on finished products before distribution to outlets
  • Maintain proper documentation, reports, and QC checklists
  • Identify non-conformance issues and implement corrective actions
  • Ensure cleanliness of work area, equipment, and staff hygiene compliance
  • Support internal audits and regulatory inspections

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related field
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply (training provided)
  • Basic knowledge of HACCP, GMP, or food safety is an advantage
  • Strong attention to detail and discipline
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Able to work in a kitchen / factory environment (cold & wet conditions)
  • Willing to follow strict hygiene and safety procedures

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
