We are seeking a talented individual to join our Claims Operations team at Marsh This role will be based in our Pavilion Damansara Corporate Towers, Kuala Lumpur office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working as per respective team's arrangement.
Senior FINPRO Claims Operations Specialist (Supporting Hong Kong)
Be a part of FINPRO Claims Center of Excellence (COE) team in Malaysia. The role is split 50/50 between technical FINPRO claims work and operational claims management.
We will count on you to:
- Overseeing a portfolio of Financial Lines claims matters while maintaining efficient, data-driven claims operations
- Develop and implement claims strategies (liability, quantum, defense/settlement) and coordinate external counsel.
- Negotiate settlements and prepare technical position papers and client briefings.
- Translate complex legal issues into clear, client-facing guidance.
- Responsible in identify process improvement opportunities and implementing technology or workflow changes that reduce cycle times and increase efficiency
What you need to have:
- At least a Bachelor’s degree in any field
- Claims Professional experience with min 5 to 10 years’ legal and/or Financial Lines (FINPRO) experience (PI, D&O, Medical Malpractice, PI schemes).
- Ability to read and write Chinese .
- Strong policy/coverage interpretation, exclusion analysis, and indemnity knowledge
- Hands-on experience with claims management systems: accurate data entry, file updates, document control and maintaining audit-ready records.
- Strong reporting and analytical skills: producing regular claims reports, dashboards, KPI monitoring and trend analysis to support regional reporting and business decisions
- Proficient in MS Office (advanced Excel for analysis, PowerPoint for presentations, Word for technical documentation).
