Full job description
Spanish Cellar KL is a premium importer and distributor of Spanish wines and gourmet foods, supplying restaurants, hotels, retailers and private dining experiences throughout Malaysia.
We are seeking an experienced Accountant or Finance Consultant to review our accounts on a regular basis and ensure our financial records remain accurate and compliant.
Responsibilities
- Review bookkeeping and accounting records
- Verify vendor bills, expenses and bank transactions
- Reconcile bank accounts and financial records
- Review inventory valuation and cost tracking
- Ensure accounting entries are accurate
- Review SST-related records and compliance
- Generate monthly management reports
- Identify accounting discrepancies and recommend corrections
- Assist management with financial planning and reporting
- Coordinate with auditors and tax agents when required
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Minimum 3 years accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards
- Experience with accounting software (Odoo experience is a bonus)
- Experience with inventory-based businesses preferred
- Able to work independently
- Detail-oriented and organized

- Trading, distribution or import/export businesses
- Inventory management and costing
- SST compliance
- Odoo ERP
- SME accounting
Working Arrangement
- Flexible working arrangement
- Approximately 2–4 days per month
- Combination of on-site and remote work
- Long-term engagement preferred
