Restaurant Operations Manager jobs

About the Role:

Our Client is a Public Listed Company in Singapore and they are seeking a no-nonsense Operations Manager to take full control of our resort operations across three locations in Malaysia. This role is not a desk job. You will be on your feet, outdoors, and hands-on - managing teams of 50 or more workers in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.

Key Requirements:

· Minimum 10 years of experience managing large teams (50+ workers)

· Proven background in busy restaurants, catering, cleaning services, outdoor banqueting, or any other demanding service industries

· Strong ability to discipline staff and manage operational workers

· Experience working under tight schedules, with large crowds, and in high-pressure conditions

· Physically fit, able to walk non-stop and perform hands-on tasks

· Comfortable working outdoors: arranging catering, events, parties, and operations

· Willingness to work weekends, public holidays, and unsocial hours

· Strong personality - firm, fair, and in full control at all times

· Excellent command of English and Malay (knowledge of Chinese is a plus, but not mandatory)

Qualifications & Skills

· Working experience in a hotel or resort is NOT a prerequisite.

· A true leader who gets things done and does them well.

· A very street-smart, highly observant person capable of quickly identifying issues.

· Natural ability as a hands-on manager with a talent for solving problems.

· Strong organisational skills for planning events and preparatory work.

· Customer satisfaction-focused, with experience in addressing customer-related issues

· Understanding of human resource behaviour, particularly in addressing disciplinary issues

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM20,000.00 per month
