Restaurant Management Trainee (NakNak Malaysia)

Employment Type: Full-time (1-2 year rotational program)

Reports to: Restaurant/Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Rotate across front-of-house (FOH), back-of-house (BOH), inventory.
  • Oversee daily operations including order taking, kitchen coordination, table turnover, and waste management.
  • Monitor inventory levels, conduct stock checks.
  • Implement food safety standards (HALAL) and optimize processes for faster service and higher customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze sales data and customer feedback to drive improvements, such as staffing schedules.
  • Lead small teams during peak hours and participate in training for new outlets or promotions.

Requirements:

  • Fresh graduate or up to 1 year in F&B, hospitality, or operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field.
  • Strong organizational skills; basic knowledge of POS systems (e.g. Epoint, SQL) is a plus.
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia advantageous for diverse teams.
  • Energetic, customer-focused, and able to thrive in a high-pressure environment with flexible shifts.
  • Passion for customer service/satisfaction and willingness to learn hands-on.
