Full job description

We are looking for professional, energetic, talented and eager-to-learn Pizza Chefs to join our fun and fast-paced restaurant.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
  • Prepare food and pizza dough for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
  • Follow instructions from the Executive or Sous Chef and report issues promptly
  • Clean up station and take care of leftover food
  • Stock inventory appropriately
  • Ensure pizzas are prepared in high quality and delivered in a timely manner
  • Comply with food safety, sanitation regulations and safety standards
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Requirements

  • Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
  • Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
  • Familiarity with industry best practices
  • Culinary diploma is an advantage
  • Able to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays
  • Valid food handler certificate and typhoid vaccination, or willing to obtain
