The Customer Support Business Group focuses on enabling our customers with premier customer support throughout their lifecycle with Lam. We drive performance, productivity, safety, and quality of customers installed base performance and deliver service and lifecycle solutions for their most critical equipment and processes.

The impact you’ll make

This position provides administrative support to the Global Flexible Workforce team based in Penang_Malaysia.

What you’ll do

• Provide administrative support which includes using a variety of software packages such as Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and SAP to produce correspondence and documents and maintain records, spreadsheets and databases.
• Maintain management information systems and compilation of statistical data (Excel or computerized). Identify and highlight discrepancies. Generate reports to facilitate management in decision-making.
• Provide administrative support for 3 main areas :
  • Operations administrative duties.
  • Track and report travel locations of all GFW FSEs, including deployment and PTO status.
  • Handle all travel related enquires with travel administrator to ensure smooth deployment.
• Coordinate new employees onboarding logistics with hiring manager.
• Track and report all Opex and transfer related to GFW’s operations.
• Leverage AI tools to improve reporting accuracy, automate tracking processes, and enhance operational efficiency.
• Direct Field Service labor hours reporting in compliance to the Labor Reporting Policy.
• Manage and ensure full compliance of Field Service labor reporting by maintaining 100% accurate weekly time reporting, enforcing 60 hour work week policies, and ensuring all funded hours are charged to the correct service orders as assigned by region's AT.
• Track and report engineer’s utilization actual versus target weekly, sending out alert for high OT situation.
• Ensuring no post week edit without approval.
• Mandatory occupational medical examination.
• Maintain Safety certificate, Fit Test and Pulmonary Function Test (PFT) are completed timely by the engineers
• Any other general administrative duties as assigned by the Immediate Supervisor.

Who we’re looking for

• Minimally SPM / STPM / Diploma with 2 - 4 years of office administration related experience.
• Good knowledge of MS Office Suite especially with MS Excel
• Good communication and interpersonal relations skill
• Independent and is able to multi-task
• Meticulous with good organizing skill

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
