Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Marketing, Advertising, Media or equivalent.
• At least 2-3.5 years of experience in related capacity or field.
• Experience in fusion cuisine, including the preparation of onigiri, sandwiches, handheld foods, and packaged ready-to-eat meals
• Applicants must be willing to work in Petaling Jaya.
• Full-Time position.

Job Descriptions:

• Involve in exchange of ideas and contribute expertise throughout the R&D process.
• Plan, develop and execute proper research and methodologies into establishing new product recipes.
• Provide innovative, creative and unique menu to launch in the market.
• Keep updated of current culinary trends and technology.
• Research and experiment on new concepts to improve current processes and SOP.
• Ensure compliance of R&D activities according to Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), food safety standards and halal requirements.
• Monitor and check quality of samples and ingredients used according to company SOP and food safety standards.
• Establish costing information for new and revised formulation.
• To record, update, compile, delegate and feedback the progress of R&D activities to management.
• Plan and develop the SOP for new and revised products and projects.
• Plan and manage specific R&D project as assigned and complete according to deadline.
• Maintain proper documentation and records of all R&D activities.
• To present and report to management the results of finished R&D projects.
• Carry out in-depth research and produce viable solutions for R&D issues.
• To provide technical solution and troubleshooting during R&D production process.
• Conducting menu training with team member.
• Able to perform independently and provide support to superiors and team members.
• Able to communicate and maintain good relations with other departments to complete related tasks
• Maintain high level cleanliness of the work and storage area for all R&D equipment.
• Assist in ad-hoc assignment as required by management.
• To perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
• Ensure the confidentiality of all Company matters.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
