Our client, a Malaysian company with businesses in Technology, F&B, Health & Wellness, Hospitality and Corporate Succession Planning, is looking for a Group L&D & Culture Specialist to join their team in Kuchai Lama.
They are seeking a suitable candidate to design, implement, and evaluate learning, culture, and employee engagement initiatives that strengthen leadership capability, functional skills, organizational culture, and employee experience across all Group entities. The role also supports the development of a positive workplace culture and coordinates Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives aligned with the Group’s values and employer branding.
Responsibilities:
1. Learning Strategy & Training Needs Analysis (TNA)
- Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) across business units and consolidate development priorities.
- Develop the Group annual learning and development roadmap aligned with business goals, leadership capability needs, and PMS insights.
- Coordinate Group training calendar and BU participation planning in collaboration with HR Business Partners.
- Identify leadership development and capability-building opportunities across the Group.
2. Learning Program Design & Execution
- Design and coordinate learning initiatives including leadership development, functional skills training, and internal capability programs.
- Source and manage external training providers and learning partners.
- Coordinate training logistics, materials, attendance, and program evaluation.
- Facilitate selected internal learning sessions where applicable.
3. Employee Engagement & Culture Initiatives
- Design and coordinate Group employee engagement initiatives and engagement survey frameworks.
- Work with HR Business Partners to implement engagement action plans within Business Units.
- Develop culture-building initiatives aligned with the Group’s values and leadership principles.
- Track engagement outcomes and provide insights on employee experience trends.
4. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
- Plan and coordinate Group CSR initiatives aligned with the organization’s values and social responsibility goals.
- Partner with Business Units to encourage employee participation in CSR activities.
- Coordinate CSR events and track participation and impact outcomes.
- Support employer branding through meaningful community engagement initiatives.
5. HRD Corp Governance & Budget Management
- Manage HRD Corp grant submissions, claims, and documentation.
- Track training budget utilization and optimize cost recovery through HRD Corp grants.
- Ensure compliance with HRD Corp guidelines, processes, and submission deadlines.
6. Learning Effectiveness & Impact Reporting
- Evaluate learning effectiveness through pre/post training evaluations, feedback, and manager input.
- Track training outcomes linked to performance indicators and leadership capability development.
- Produce quarterly learning and engagement impact reports for the Chief Talent Officer.
- Provide insights on capability gaps and learning priorities.
Requirements
- Degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in Learning & Development, Training, or Talent Development roles.
- Experience in planning training programs, coordinating learning initiatives, and managing vendors.
- Familiarity with HRD Corp claims process is a strong advantage.
- Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Good project management and program coordination capability.
- Ability to analyze learning data and present insights using Excel or presentation tools.
- Passion for leadership development, culture building, and employee engagement.

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
