Job Description and Summary

As an ESG and Sustainability Consultant at BBC, you will support organisations in advancing their sustainability journey by translating ESG principles into practical actions and measurable outcomes.

You will be part of the BBC ESG and Sustainability (E&S) team, working closely with colleagues from diverse backgrounds to deliver projects and build long-term client relationships. You will also contribute to strengthening BBC’s expertise and supporting selected business development initiatives.

Your role will focus on delivering ESG and sustainability projects while continuously developing your capabilities in a fast-evolving landscape.

Key Responsibilities and Skills
  • Research
    Conduct in-depth research and verify information.
  • Project management
    Manage multiple projects simultaneously while delivering quality work within established timelines.
  • Report writing and analysis
    Interpret international and local ESG, sustainability reporting, and carbon accounting standards. Prepare compliant reports using primary and secondary data.
  • Communication
    Articulate ideas and insights clearly through both verbal and written communication.
  • Problem-solving
    Apply creative and practical thinking to achieve project objectives.
  • Stakeholder engagement and conflict resolution
    Manage relationships effectively by understanding diverse perspectives. Proactively address issues, facilitate constructive discussions, and drive practical solutions to support collaboration.
Preferred Background

We are looking for candidates with a proven track record in ESG, sustainability, or related fields, demonstrated through hands-on project experience, deliverables, or measurable outcomes. Practical experience is highly valued over purely academic exposure.
