Job Summary

We are looking for a sharp, social-media-savvy TikTok Moderator to join our team. You will be the "guardian" of our digital community, ensuring our TikTok Live sessions and comment sections remain safe, positive, and on-brand. If you have a deep understanding of TikTok trends, community guidelines, and how to handle "trolls" with grace, we want to hear from you.

Job Scope (Responsibilities)

  • Live Stream Moderation: Monitor real-time TikTok Live sessions to filter out spam, block inappropriate users, and keep the conversation flowing.
  • Community Engagement: Respond to comments and direct messages (DMs) to boost engagement and answer basic customer/fan inquiries.
  • Content Enforcement: Review user-generated content and comments to ensure they align with TikTok’s Community Guidelines and our brand safety standards.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on the latest TikTok trends, sounds, and "slang" to help the content team stay relevant.
  • Escalation: Identify and report recurring issues or high-level PR risks to the Social Media Manager.
  • Vibe Management: Pin important comments, trigger engagement polls, and encourage viewers to follow/share during Lives.

Requirements (Qualifications)

  • TikTok Native: You spend a significant amount of time on TikTok and understand how the algorithm and Live features work.
  • Thick Skin: Ability to remain calm and professional when encountering "trolls" or negative comments.
  • Fast Fingers: High typing speed and the ability to multitask in a fast-moving, live environment.
  • Good Judgment: Strong understanding of what is considered "inappropriate" or "offensive" versus "playful banter."
  • Schedule Flexibility: Ability to work evenings or weekends (since that’s often when TikTok traffic is highest).
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in Malay with excellent spelling and grammar.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
