The Royal Selangor Visitor Centre showcases the heritage, craftsmanship and stories of Royal Selangor through museum displays, artefacts, product showcases and interactive demonstration areas.

As a Visitor Centre Ambassador, you will play an important role in creating an engaging and memorable experience for our visitors. You will be responsible for bringing the Royal Selangor story to life through engaging storytelling, guided tours and meaningful interactions with visitors from Malaysia and around the world.

You will also have opportunities to support and participate in special projects, events and activities held at the Royal Selangor Visitor Centre.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver a warm, engaging and memorable visitor experience in accordance with Royal Selangor’s brand standards and guidelines.
• Conduct guided tours and facilitate special visits for local and international visitors.
• Share Royal Selangor’s heritage, history and craftsmanship through engaging and compelling storytelling.
• Explain and introduce museum artefacts, products and displays to visitors in an informative and approachable manner.
• Attend to visitors’ enquiries and provide accurate information about Royal Selangor and the Visitor Centre.
• Assist in coordinating and supporting special projects, events and activities held at the Visitor Centre.
• Maintain a professional, welcoming and well-groomed presence when representing the Royal Selangor brand.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum SPM qualification; candidates with a Professional Certificate, Diploma or equivalent qualification in any field are encouraged to apply.
• Fresh graduates and candidates interested in developing a career in hospitality, tourism, retail, customer service or visitor experience are welcome to apply.
• Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, tourism, retail or tour guiding will be an added advantage.

Required Skills & Attributes:

• Good command of English and Bahasa Melayu, both written and spoken.
• Ability to converse in Mandarin or other foreign languages will be an added advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage comfortably with people from different backgrounds and nationalities.
• Pleasant, courteous, confident and engaging personality.
• Passionate about storytelling and interacting with visitors.
• Well-groomed and professional in appearance.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Willing to work on weekends and Public Holidays when required.
• Willing to be based at Royal Selangor International’s Global Headquarters in Setapak, Kuala Lumpur.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
