Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to merchants and key accounts, handling daily technical inquiries and integration requests.
• Monitor payment system performance and conduct routine production checks to ensure stable transaction processing.
• Troubleshoot transaction failures, API integration issues, reconciliation discrepancies, and payment-related technical problems
• Assist merchants with API integration, system configuration, and operational setup.
• Prepare troubleshooting guides, FAQs, and process documentation.
• Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews.
• Work on a rotational shift schedule and respond promptly to urgent production issues.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficient in MySQL and SQL, including joins, query optimization, and basic indexing.
• Strong understanding of Java fundamentals, including OOP, collections, exception handling, and multithreading basics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of REST API concepts and basic troubleshooting workflow
• Customer-focused with patience in handling technical inquiries.
• Able to work under pressure and adapt to rotational shifts.
• Ability to communicate in Mandarin as the current role will be liaising with Chinese-speaking stakeholders.

Good to Have

• Internship or working experience in backend development, application support, technical support, or payment/fintech industry is an advantage.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or Apifox is an advantage.
• Experience in API debugging, log analysis, and production issue troubleshooting is preferre
• Familiarity with Spring Boot, Git, Maven, or backend development workflow

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
