Job Summary

The Welder / Fabrication Technician is responsible for performing high-quality welding and fabrication work related to instrumentation systems, including pipe works, steam socket welding for hot tapping, and fabrication of supports and structures. The role ensures all welding activities are executed safely, accurately, and in compliance with applicable codes, standards, and company procedures. Preferably with 1–2 years of working experience in the welding field.

Technician Job Description

- To be responsible for Products (Water Meters, Instrumentations, Solar Power Supply Unit, Portable Valve Actuators and Air Motors) Preparation, Assembly, Testing & Packaging.

- To perform welding (TIG, MIG, SMAW) and fabrication on all steel works used in instrumentations and equipment's supports.

- Carry out cutting, grinding, drilling, bending and fitting operations as required.

- To perform On-Site Installation, Service, Troubleshooting, Repair, Maintenance for all products.

To ensure product, system and delivery quality meet the company/customer's compliances and requirements

- To carry out routine and preventive maintenance for office tools, machines and equipment.

- To follow Safety Regulations and the Standard of Procedure while providing technical operational support for all operations & clients.

- To complete quality task given by the company within timeline

- To maintain a clean and organized workshop environment.

- Others duties as assigned by management

Technician’s Requirements:

* Candidates must possess at least a SKM, Diploma in Technical Certificate or equivalent.

* MUST perform Good Discipline and Time management skills.

* MUST have Class D License to drive Company's Vehicles.

* MUST able to travel outstation.

* MUST Hands On in handling Hand Tools, Power Tools (Drill, Cutter, Grinder, all kind of Welding Machine)

* Able to perform Soldering and using the Electronics Measurement Tools (Multimeter, Controller, Regulator, Calibrator, Signal Generator) are preferable.

· Required language(s): English, Bahasa.

· Multi-tasking and able to work independently.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
