2020 is drawing to a close at last. It was a year that made huge demands on all of us. To all our friends and colleagues, we are thankful that we have each other to ride this storm and to provide the support, care and laughter we needed at our new 'workplace'. From experimenting with making #dalgonacoffee to #tiktokvideos, we reconnected with our neighbours and embraced the importance of spending time at home with a newfound appreciation of new hobbies and habits. As we move into a new (and hopefully better) year, we wish you moments of peace amid the difficulties, connections with family and friends even if they can't be in person and wonderful glimpses of joy to be rediscovered. Here's our 2020 #BestNine with everyone that was in it with us along the way 💜 🧡 💛 💚 💙 ❤️
Next up on our year-end countdown, here's Tiek Yi, Consulting Development Analyst, on his thoughts for the year and what he's looking forward to in the new year: "Due to the pandemic, 2020 made working from home a new norm. Despite being connected only virtually, this challenging time displayed our agility while remaining efficient. This new way of work offers much needed mental breaks – no more stress about dressing up too! As you can see, this is how I take some of my calls now! I am very proud of how far we’ve come in this pandemic. It has given me a new profound sense of gratefulness. I appreciate those around me, the extra time it has created and how important self-care is. I look forward to embark on 2021 with this newfound sense of being!"
2020, what a year it has been! As we count down to the end of 2020, we asked some of our people to share their thoughts on the year and what they're looking forward to in the new year. First up, meet Shazreen Halibullah, Talent & Organisation Management Consultant. "2020 has been pretty challenging, but (as cliche as this may sound) equally rewarding: I’ve discovered a new hobby, a refreshed sense of purpose in my work, whilst maturing both as an individual and a professional. This year I’ve also realised that you never quite ‘nail down’ this #adulting thing, but you can take comfort in knowing that you get better at managing the curveballs which life throws at you. That said, I’m very much looking forward to turning the page on 2020, and things slowly returning to a more ‘normal’ normal in 2021!"
🎄🎁✨ Happy Holidays from all of us at Accenture!
