Could be better
Cashier/Cook (Current Employee) - Manassas, VA - 6 December 2019
Indeed Featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedI work there and it's honestly not that bad it's just the manager that treats me like I'm stupid and is super biased. She totally just makes the job 100% unenjoyable

Productive and fun
Cook (Former Employee) - Mobile, AL - 3 February 2023
For a starter job for teens Burger King would be recommended and is where I started working at so I believe it was helpful for me and getting used to working hard for my money
Pros
Free food and discounts

Closing cook (Former Employee) - Vancouver, WA - 2 February 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? We would get free lunch and drinks What is the most stressful part about working at the company? The company refused to fix broken equipment and made us make due with broken equipment. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Toxic work environment and always got blamed for what the new people were doing and employee favoritism made it impossible to get time off What is a typical day like for you at the company? Making specialty fast food sandwiches or salads. Prepping bacon and condiments for the next day. Cleaning dishes and cleaning the kitchen.

It's alright but not the ideal job anymore
Cook (Current Employee) - Rockland, MA - 30 January 2023
Everyone tries to get tougher but all do here best to not get a each other. Work goes smoothly when we all are having a good day. It's team work that makes the dream work and that does happen. We do have our off day but we try to work things through.
Pros
Be able to have a break now and again
Cons
Customers not happy

Mundane, repeat
Cook (Former Employee) - New Jersey - 28 January 2023
There is no movement in the local branch for advancement. This is due to the low number of employees. Low hours at first but you can get more if it comes available.

Good as a first time job for young teens who need work experience.
Closing Cook (Former Employee) - Wilkesboro, NC - 24 January 2023
Would not recommend as a job for adults. This is the type of job that's best done when kids are running the show. Nothing was properly cleaned or done. Gloves weren't changed and that's when they were actually worn. Not following health and safty policies here except for 48 - 72 hours before and up to inspection.
Cons
Not a living wage. Not Disabled friendly.

Cook (Current Employee) - Amarillo, TX - 23 January 2023
Not for a long term job but job is a job so it's good. Working there is alittle stressful bout and high demanding so is high pace... But with time you get good and it becomes easier

Just a job
Cook (Former Employee) - Littleton, CO - 23 January 2023
Low pay and short staffed. Could never get any time off from work. Always needed to fill in on my days off. Management could never hire enough competent staff. Customers were extremely rude.
