Based on my previous work experience, this workplace has an encouraging work environment and a good working spirit.I look forward to working with higher positions again

The burger king Im currently working is decent but isn't the best. The managers are okay, they make sure that the employees are supposed to be doing what they should. But overall Im not satisfied with this job and am open to experience another job available.

fun crew bad GM

The GM at college st is horrible to her employees, cuts everyones hours, then complains about us being slow at making/getting food out customers. writes people up for things they cant control. the shift managers are cool and fun and i love majority of the crew.

for your day to go well you have to be there favorite or part of the head gang otherwise they try to make it bad. newcomers are tested not just by work but by taking sides

Fast Paced,hectic,some don't have to work

Some people don't have to work as hard depending on how much management likes them. Lunch and dinner time are hectic, you must keep up, you are timed at drive-thru and ranked against other stores.

A mild fun workplace

The managers do their jobs and everything but the employees sometimes don’t and leave the others to do their job. Many of the customers come back satisfied and the others are disappointed with the way their food is made.

Uncomfortable work environment

The people who worked there knew each other outside of work. Some lived together and others knew each other from school. It was uncomfortable working long shifts with people I didn’t know and I felt alienated because they talked about coworkers they didn’t know openly. The pay was minimum wage, & weekly but it wasn’t worth it in my opinion.

Minimal staff on a shift meant it was extremely stressful. On busy periods had had maximum of 4 staff. Was put on busy shifts with mostly new people multiple times this caused a lot of chaos and stress within the kitchen. There was never enough staff on one shift, so during the busy periods was doing way more than one person could manage. Extremely poor management! Lack of communication with staff. Tell them your availability in the interview and then a week into the job they push you way over what you’ve said and it’s impossible to fit it in with your day to day life. Pay was hit and miss didn’t keep track of hours properly. Trying to communicate with the manager is awful never get back to you. Had no respect towards staff whatsoever. Training was horrendous. There’s no proper training in the kitchen. Once online training was completed was practically thrown into the job. Not welcoming towards new members of staff at all. Do not recommend this job it causes stress and and never come out of a shift feeling happy!

Extremely Poor Management

Schedules often not released until the end of the current week, constantly leaving people in the dark for whether or not they were scheduled, and getting time off was a joke. Managers don't show up to open the store until late into the morning, and so on.

Fast paced and fun at times

You become pretty close to the people you work with regularly. When it gets busy, it’s really busy. But when it’s slow, it’s really slow. It’s a basic fast food job and the free employee lunches were nice.

I do not recommend this job at all unless you are close to the general manager. The management is so unprofessional and there is high chance that you will just do chores and not kitchen work if you are new to the place, it is the worst place I have ever worked at so far. Workers were getting angry at me on my first day of training because i didn't know much even though it was literally my first day to train.

Always super busy, bad management, managers didn't know what they were doing. Was overworked and low pay, high turnover rate meant you are training other staff only 2 months into your role.
