work expectations are high and there is zero compensation. The company hasnt given out raises in at least 8 years and they raise the employees health insurance cost every year.

DXC Corporate cares very little about the Medicaid offices, and it shows with the company culture. 3 years with no raises, or even a cost of living increase. All of this despite excellent performance reviews and great client feedback. I'm taking home less money now than when I started because insurance costs keep going up. Salary is low compared to Madison market value, and we've lost a ton of experienced people because of it. No one seems to care.

There's room to grow in theory, if they'd stop bringing on contractors with no Medicaid experience. That being said, there's very little incentive to take on more work, as you will never be rewarded for it. The overall morale in the building is not good at all and I can't imagine it's going to change any time soon.

"Unlimited" vacation is just a way to avoid paying out PTO when an employee leaves. It's fine as long as you work here, but learn the policy and make sure it's being followed. Take advantage of it, as it's the only employee perk you'll get.

The best thing about working here are the dedicated employees, and the client is nice to work with. But that won't make up for your stagnant salary and unrewarded performance, and those great coworkers keep leaving for other places. It's a great place to earn experience, but I wouldn't recommend staying long.
Pros
Unlimited Vacation, relaxed atmosphere, friendly coworkers
Cons
No raises, Performance isn't rewarded, Corporate doesn't care

This job was not enjoyable. The management was only interested in getting projects delivered to clients no matter the cost to the employee. No raises for over 10 years. Required to work 24/7 only to have your job sent offshore.

While DXC provides a very flexible work/life balance, unlimited vacation, and remote work, there is no room for advancement, and while their mission states that each individual is assessed individually, they are absolutely opposite. If your subdivision are rockstars and earning like made, it doesn't matter. If your entire division is not doing well, then no raises. No raises in this company for last 6 years.
Pros
remote work, flexible time schedule, unlimited vacation
Cons
no raises for 6 years, no advancement opportunity, low pay

Initially when we joined there were lot of learning opportunities. But now it is only pressure. There is no motivation from Management. Salary hike is just not happening. I have been working with this company for more than 2 years and still i am getting the money that was offered in offer letter. There is no hike for past 2.5 years.

The benefits are great, friendly staff to work with. I've been working here for almost 9 years and I've advanced pretty well. Very knowledge. A typical day here in this department is very busy and changes happen often. You just have to learn to keep up with the speed of things. If you have a question the co-workers are always willing to help out.

There are two divisions to DXC, each one is traded separately on the stock exchange. There is the IT Division that many review are about. I work for the Financial Services Division that mainly operates as a third party administrator to life insurance companies, processing their business and operating their call centers. If you work for DXC, know that whatever pay you enter the door with, you will always have as they provide no pay raises or cost of living increases. The only way to get a pay raise is to post to a different position in hopes of bettering your pay, unless you want to quit and get hired back at a higher rate since all new employees get paid more than seasoned employees who train them. Everything rolls downhill and the slack is expected to be picked up by those best performers. While there are a few good people to work with, the environment can become toxic because of the lack of support local branches receive from corporate. No onsite HR.
Pros
Depending on role, ability to work remotely
Cons
Healthcare, no raises, depressing work environment

There is a lot of autonomy in my position, which is nice because I enjoy the independence. I've also had opportunities to get involved in various projects and pick up skills that I had wanted to learn, such as SQL. However, it has been very difficult to meet with my team lead and managers. I maybe see them once every 2-3 months, which means it can be difficult to grow professionally if no one sees the good work you do, advocates for you, or looks for opportunities for you to grow professionally.
Pros
Flexible hours. "Unlimited" vacation days.
Cons
Management feels disconnected from their team members. Poor benefits.

"Raises" "Promotions" and "Bonuses" are all foreign concepts. Management has so many hoops to jump through to get rid of useless employees that it's not generally worth the effort. You end up with a bunch of dead weight with just a hand full of people who are actually helpful in their positions.

Employees do not know when they will be tapped on the shoulder to be told that they no longer have a job. Morale is at an all time low. People are no longer motivated to work due to no salary increases being given in the last 6-7 years.

Too many changes and too soon to fairly and accurately report on how it is to work for DXC. So far cost of benefits have increased tremendously and several have been cut altogether. No longer accrue time off. It is up to the manager to approve your time off requests...that sounds disastrous.

DXC is great environment to learn and grow. I would definitely recommend it for an entry level Business Analyst. There are plenty of areas to explore and skills to gain. The salary compared to other companies is on the lower side, but not terrible.
Pros
Flexibility, developmental opportunities, friendly atmosphere
Cons
lower pay, lack of training

DXC is very unstable and has publicly announced $1 billion in synergies since the merger. Layoffs are constant and do not take skillskets into account. Managers are often times mismatched with job expereience and are put in charge of areas and employees that they do not know anything about. It is hard to move or get promoted. Compensation is the lowest for the industry and benefits are very expensive and generic. Most employees have two and three jobs and have no work life balance. Solutions are outdated and the model for delivery does not work well. Even if you need a job, there is no promise of a future. The culture is not integrated among all the aquiried companies.

Cons
Constant Layoffs, No Work/Life Balance, No Raises
