As stated in the title the job is fairly easy once you actually teach yourself what's going on through day to day interactions with either co-workers customers or the rare occasional "management". Top revenue pullers never really change and usually have all the pull in terms of jobs movement, management shows favoritism though. You can basically take the job anywhere because they provide you with a laptop to work from. Also you will do the job of 3 different positions in one while only being paid for one of them.
Management, pay, favoritism
The company will push you to grow each and everyday. If you like challenges, Dyson is a great place to be. The company is never afraid to challenge itself to evolve and move beyond expectation.
Dyson was my first company. The company has a great work culture and follows a great work ethics. One of the most premium companies to work for. They took good care of the employee.
If you strive in a metrics based business then Dyson is for you. Every decision is based on your metrics only. They do not care about anything else. You will take the same call over and over from entitled customers. The culture of entitlement is encouraged by Dyson. Prepare to be micromanaged to a breaking point. Management shows favoritism to a select few and ignores its hardest or best workers.
Benefits, work from home
Dyson is an amazing company to work for spending 5 years with Dyson was exciting, Training was always very interesting. A real family feel. Dyson encourage and reward hard work and thinking outside the box. The company are very accommodating and supportive if any personal issues arise. The people centred approach to management. Perfect place to work and wish I’d never left.
The whole family feel working at Dyson, Also working with amazing products. Great bonus packages with achievable targets
Not enough footfall in my store it’s hard to sell to nobody.

Sadly the past few months things have changed and its become increasingly stressful working customer service for Dyson. You barely hear from management unless you've done something wrong and they flip flop you all day from one task to the other back to the first as if they don't even know what to do with everyone on a daily basis anymore. It makes things increasingly stressful. Lunch is literally 30 minutes. No time to breathe even though its an exceptionally busy day every day.
The pay is good
Very stressful lately
Company run by a selfish, immoral man, and staffed at a senior level by people who admire that sort of behaviour. I'd run a mile if I were you (I did!)
I will start this off by saying that Dyson as a company and a brand is okay by me, the issues lie within the management of regions. Management barely understands what they’re doing. Management for the SoCal Region is about as clueless in the beauty industry as they are with understanding and interacting with people. They give you little to no setup for success in whatever door they place you in which then means whatever sour or tense relationship the store has with management is put on you, the Dyson rep, that you then have to try to help mend. The pay starts off well and then you realize that the third party companies they have used to hire independent contractors pay a decent amount more than you get paid and don’t have half of the responsibilities that you have, save yourself the time. If you want to work for this company, wait for holiday when they’re contracting for that so you can get in when they’re selling well and you can get out as soon as the season is over and slows down so YOU can benefit from them the most and don’t have to be stuck inside of a department store dealing with catty and miserable people on one end and useless management on the back end.
Made own schedule, tools, in charge of yourself
Management, constant miscommunication, lack of professionalism
Great company!!! They train their employees well. They want us to succeed so lots of feedback. Must be self managing. Friendly coworkers and managers. The product is amazing! People love dyson! During pandemic, they really cared about our health and well-being. They kept paying to help us out until they couldn’t. It was my favorite job of all time.
It was only pt.
They over work you for not alot of break or time to yourself after the abuse from customer's. They expect you to be a certain kind of person that just turns up sick or dead. Doesn't matter. You got to like time pressures otherwise you won't get on with this job. On top of that the management is a joke and they employ kids to be mangers.
