Many things have changed in Big Blue, not for the better.
Its no longer an exceptional MNC to work with. When the shareholders are more important the people that make IBM, you know that its heading for disaster.

The best experience working with a pioneer team of eighty when we first started at a new Data Center in Cyberjaya, Malaysia. We organized monthly meetings, plan diverse duties, handovers to administer uninterrupted management process. Truly amazing workplace, reliable Global and Country Managers and great teams!
Pros
We were treated with lots of company lunches and events with the big bosses from USA, Eu.
Cons
Travelling distance from home to work and inadequate transportation allowances.

Same location
work life balance is there , but still depends on manager.
as long you do not misuse the privilege the management has given to employee, you are good.

Opportunities to grow.
Pros
work life balance, fair internal movement opportunities
Cons
few employee benefits has been cut down through years, but i guess its the same almost everywhere for cost saving. Some managers do micromanage.
