Indeed Featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedThey really needed to work faster and hard work like a robotic human no matter how you feels about it people are don’t care and no respect as a human being standing long hours and the management are poor service always needs to work what they’re instructed and we cannot be ourselves in the process they are have learning process but you can’t do it they way you want totally they control you and manipulating and if you do you best they have no encouragement and they say if you dunno about anything ask but when you ask they looks at you respond like how many times repeatedly to you and always complain about you with other workers so stressful and your entire energy will end up 😂😂
Pros
Lunch break just 1 hours only 👎🏻
Cons

Fast paced and too much workload
Assistant outlet manager (Former Employee) - Kuala Lumpur - 23 May 2022
Its a high paying job that uses every second of your time working there doing a never ending tasks. Multitasking, cleaning, customer service, cashier, cafe, bun arrangement, greeting all at once. Standing all the time and your legs will hurt for the first week of working . If u did a good job your upper manager wont appreciate you anyways. Because of the workload you will always need to overtime to cover other peoples job or task. Lack motivation from upper person or poor leadership. The company is improving but i will not recommend for the sake of your mental health because the shop looks fancy and calming right? But no, i’ve been there, don’t make the same mistake as i did.

Fast Paced, Physically Demanding, rely heavily on Teamwork
Staff (Former Employee) - Selangor - 27 February 2020
Mainly Chinese speaking culture.
In the beginning - interesting if you are keen to learn.
Can learn basic bread shaping and food preparation (beginner and intermediary stage). After three months or so, bound to get bored because once you are used to it, all the tasks are repetitive on a daily basis. The next challenge is to get better at the same tasks in terms of quality and speed.
This mentioned mundane routine can be broken if you are lucky enough to be "promoted" to the station of baking the shaped breads (considered advance). This depends on your supervisor's judgement or biases...
Your working experience will depend on your character (whether or not you are the kind that wants to work efficiently and go back home as early as possible as long as all the tasks are completed) and your colleagues's character. Your main social interaction is with your kitchen colleagues.
What time you go back depends on:
1. the customer flow on that day. You may have to prepare more breads for sale in the afternoon and that will delay your time to get off work.
2. the efficiency of your teammates.
3. the leadership skills of your kitchen supervisor.
Others:
Lacking open communication with management.
Not able to apply for annual leave due to under staffing.

You have to be superman to work here
Purchasing Officer (Former Employee) - plentong - 17 January 2020
The challenges is you will have to do extra position for F.O.C, never trust your position in your offer letter because you are going to do more than that, even not in your field f.o.c.
