A horrible place to work at
Virtual Demand Generation Specialist (Former Employee) - Kuala Lumpur - 27 September 2018
They treat employees like a bunch of disposable tissue paper, not proper human beings. If "Job Security/Advancement" is an important criterion for you, then this place should be the last in your job application list. The management, HR, QA and even your supervisors are irresponsible and spiteful, as they love to point out your mistakes as often as possible without being supportive at all. They can't inspire their employees to give it they all, thanks to the terrible work-life balance, their pathetic company culture and mediocre compensation/benefits. You can wait for more than 1-2 months in order to receive compensation and reimbursement for trips required by the company. Expats have to be very careful in particular, as a lot of my expat colleagues feel that they've been scammed and treated like corporate slaves.
Pros
Nothing in particular. Maybe its simple job application process.
Cons
Too many to list

Sellbytel Malaysia
Team Leader (Former Employee) - Kuala Lumpur - 19 September 2018
Office & environment:
Fancy looking office with cool lift system. Working location is pretty convenient as it’s just 3mins walk away from the LRT station.
Career growth & opportunity:
They’ve big clients (global IT companies) so you can expose to those “big companies”. On top of that, they’ve MSC Status which allow them to hire unlimited foreigners. The requirement for hiring is consider low. For language speakers, as long as you’re willing to work, they’ll hired you.
Benefits:
Normal benefits with medical card (employee only). Company car park for manager level and above. Team building or fun activities (sometimes funded by client & sometimes employees have to pay for it themselves)
HR: Not helpful. If anything happens, they’ll firstly think of a way to protect themselves. An exit
interview can be rescheduled for many times and end up not happening as HR is too busy.
Recruitment: You can submit as much referral as you want but you will never know if they process it. Forcing hiring managers to accept “trainable” people and not supportive.
IT: If your manager has a good relationship with the IT Manager then you get better equipment or faster support.
System: They’ve separate system/website for HR support, IT support, payslip, leave application, and claim respectively. Each has different IDs, so you’ll need to remember all ID and password for all website & system.
Report: Reports are done manually by using Microsoft Excel and upload to system daily or weekly or quarterly basis.
Management: Micro-managing, -
Pros
Cool office & big client

A place to grow if given an opportunity
Technical/Sales Representative (Former Employee) - Kuala Lumpur - 25 June 2018
Working at SELLBYTEL was a dream come true . A typical day at work starts on Monday . Monday's are very crucial base on my stay at SBT , i can say that it a is the day you have to give 110% in order to achieve and enhance weekly KPI. As it is always said a good start is half done.
What i have learned is professionalism, through my working days i could see my self changing towards that. The hardest part of the job is during a tough week or months , to raise KPI to assure no mistakes.
During the good days well everyone is happy a positive vibe is shared and felt among the team.
Pros
A good health package, flexible leave application and great work place with sufficient facilities.
Cons
No breakfast nor lunch provided ; )

Sellbytel is good
Recruitment Specialist (Current Employee) - Kuala Lumpur Malaysia - 17 October 2016
The best company to work for! I have been here and I am having the best time in my career!
Some people equate good listening with sitting silently, nodding, making eye contact, and, when the speaker is done, paraphrasing what you heard. But these things are only part of what makes someone feel that you heard them. The best listeners go deeper by trying to understand the substance of what the other person is saying. Doing this requires that you ask questions to clarify your understanding and push the other person to better articulate their position, examine any assumptions they’re making, and see the issues in new light. You should also try to empathize with and validate any emotions the speaker is conveying. Once you’ve made sure the person feels supported, you can offer some thoughts and ideas about the topic that could be useful to the other person. Just be careful not to highjack the conversation so that you or your agenda becomes the subject of the discussion.
Pros
good working environment
Cons
