As a barista, i cater with customer's favorite coffee which enlightens their need and heart. Here, barista is also a rotating cashier as well. Therefore, a very good presentation, communication and ethical customer service is very crucial because as a front liner in such sector, i have to delight the customers to be more customer-oriented.
A typical day at work requires you to check for supplies in case of shortage on your required shift. Working hour is 8 hours including a 50-minute break. The workplace culture is either fast-paced or relaxed depending on the branch you are in. The management was fair. However, what I do not like about the management is the constant bossing. The manager does not show qualities of a leader but rather a dictator. The manager should encourage their staffs, giving us morale boosts especially during peak hours where orders are plentiful. Keep in mind that not all branches are like this. Depending on the branch, you might get a manager who is the opposite. Overall though, I still enjoyed working there. Made good friends and given opportunity to learn about coffee.
Free lunches, relaxing environment, opportunity to learn about coffees, fast job advancement
Fair pay, bad management (depending on branch)
The environment is a beautiful one in and out. The workers treat you friendly and they even provide classes for the beginners to enhance their capability.
You can be free at certain times and the workers are friendly, creating a beautiful environment to work in
When there is a promotion going on, you will have to undergo some stressful moments.

This job also gives you a lot of benefit such as you are given an option to choose which beverages and foods would you like to have on break time. You can also enjoy vouchers from them and also discounts for staff only. You learn how cooperate with your team while doing drinks for customer.
Starbucks is best and fun place to work. The teamwork is important here. Since I worked at airport branch, it's quite challenging because of many customers. The hardest part of the job is to make sure you are able to deliver preferred beverages to customers. The most enjoyable part of the job is you get to learn and appreciative about coffee and the partners are helpful and cheerful.
Best place to work, the working environment is fun. You can achieve more if you work hard and You can learn a lot about coffee making and the specialty of each drinks in Starbucks.
