fun place to work

It is a fast paced job for me as I have to manage four hotel property and to do all openings within a year. I have learned a lot during my time with the company

Fun Experience

I started at this company with Finance Department as my background in Account suit the job. In Finance I am responsible to prepare a payment to vendor and do collection from customers. I also need to prepare monthly and yearly financial reporting. Has to liaise with auditor during year end audit. After about three years in Finance, I was given a chance to explore knowledge in construction by monitoring the project on site. I need to prepare a progress report of the construction and also monitoring the budget for construction as well as pre-operation team.

fun workplace, good benefit and work life balance

- need to alert for payment due date for example payment for withholding tax to IRB and loan interest - i'm doing for payment, reporting and analysis - good management - all staff very helpful - doing asset transfer from refurbishment project to fixed asset - always have discussion with superior to solve problem and always have two way conversation with superior.

Used to be fun but currently letting go of staff (VSS)

The company started as a fun workplace with good work-life balance. Things deteriorated in the last 3 years with changes in the company leadership and uncertain direction. Employee dissatisfaction is at an all time high

Great place to develop my career and leadership as project manager

TARH is a developer, investor and and curator of world class destination such as Desaru Coast, Puteri Harbour & Teluk Datai, Langkawi. The company and management had given me a chance to perform my duty in completing 5 stars hospitality projects since the day one I joined. It's a corporate work culture office. I had a tremendous challenge during the completion of my current project due to contract dispute with main contractor and this situation had exposed me with a lot of alternative ways of doing things in the project. To me, resolving issues in all the challenges that I faced are the most enjoyable part of the job.

Hands-on Floor Management keeps your ears, eyes and mind grounded to Operations

Manning the operations of a sprawling attraction requires much time and dedication to spending time on the Floor where the action happens. One gets a better feel of your operations team as well as the pulse of visitors when one entrenches himself in the day to day operations of the operational Floor.

Overall it is good place to work. we have goo colleague, good culture and company provide very good benefits to the staff. Flexible office hours and long lunch hour in Friday.

Fun workplace with great benefits

This company is an excellent place to work as the culture of fun is incorporated in all levels of the company. There's a work-life balance where you are not required to work long hours or over the weekend. I've learnt a lot in this company as I joined during the start-up. Doing everything from the ground up, from governance perspective, drafting out policies, charters and SOPs, training new recruits, doing roadshows and dealing with the Audit & Risk Committee and the Boards. The management comes from all walks of life with different background and experience. From investment, themepark, hotel, goivernment bodies, government-linked companies, etc. The workplace culture that the company is trying to incorporate is fun at work. However, since the resignation of the Group MD/CEO, this culture has slowly affecting the company and the people. There's no replacement of Group MD/CEO for almost one year and the company's direction and vision seems to be blurred as not much are being communicated to the employees. The most enjoyable part of the job is the people and enjoying the perks of discounted hotels and theme parks as well as it's full medical, dental and other benefits
