Fast paced environment, no life balance
Production engineer (Former Employee) - Klang - 12 May 2022
Indeed Featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedGood pay and past paced environment but managers like to micromanage staffs. If staffs do mistake they will get demerit points in terms of money (RM30, RM100) and these points will be deducted from bonus. Sometimes no bonus at all. Expect to reply managers even on weekends, public holiday and on leave day. Get ready to be scolded in front of staffs during meeting or morning discussion.
Pros
Friendly colleague, good pay
Cons
No work life balance, toxic culture

Fast paced work environment with ridiculous culture
Production Engineer (Current Employee) - Petaling - 12 October 2022
Really feeling like going back to school. A lot of reports and meeting. Ridiculous merit demerit system especially working at factory side. Too many direction to follow. A lot of long hours meeting with no conclusion. Culture is ridiculous and make no sense. Company full of young people because of high turn over rate. Most likely will hire fresh grad only.
Pros
Flexible hours
Cons
Health care

Challenging and Enjoyable Work Place
Production Engineer (Current Employee) - Klang - 1 March 2016
From Top Glove, staffs are able to learn how to management people, the management's skill, including project management and resources management.
Presentation skills is another skills that will be greatly improved as the engineers are required to present the own project and daily routine jobs (KPIs) biweekly (for certain factory, different factories different style).
The hardest part is to be multitasking, as to be an engineer, need to perform problem solving and paperwork including typing reports. Previous handled 3 factories, due to the special department, when there are problem from 3 factories at the same time, that is the time to train myself to be more tough.
The most enjoyable part, is to communicate with deprt. officer and workers. Once have known all of the people' capability, it is easy to arrange the resources and fully utilized them. In addition, the experienced officer would provide suggestion and ideas when the engineers dealing with the problems.
Pros
Subsidiary accommodation
Cons
Long Hours
