Full job description

The Legal Executive is responsible for handling legal documentation, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, supporting contract management, and providing legal and administrative support to the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and manage contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Ensure the company complies with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Liaise with external legal counsel, government authorities, and regulatory bodies.
  • Maintain and organize legal records, contracts, and documentation.
  • Conduct legal research and provide legal advice and recommendations to management when required.
  • Monitor contract renewals, business licenses, permits, and statutory deadlines.
  • Assist in handling legal disputes, claims, and legal correspondence.
  • Support corporate governance and company secretarial matters when required.
  • Assist in reviewing tender documents, procurement agreements, and commercial contracts.
  • Perform other legal and administrative duties as assigned by management.

RequirementsEducation

  • Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB) or an equivalent qualification.

Experience

  • Minimum 2–5 years of relevant working experience (preferred).
  • Experience in corporate, commercial, construction, telecommunications, or ELV industries is an added advantage.

Skills & Competencies

  • Good knowledge of Malaysian laws, regulations, and legal procedures.
  • Strong contract drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • High level of integrity and ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
