Job Purpose

We are looking for a dedicated Medical Laboratory Technologist/Scientist to perform laboratory testing and specimen collection while ensuring accurate, timely, and reliable results. The successful candidate will maintain high standards of quality, patient safety, and professional service.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing in accordance with established procedures and quality standards.
• Collect patient specimens (phlebotomy) safely and professionally.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments.
• Validate and document test results accurately.
• Ensure proper specimen handling, labeling, storage, and inventory management.
• Comply with laboratory quality systems, SOPs, and safety protocols.
• Participate in quality assurance activities, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and positive working relationships.
• Participate in training and continuous professional development.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, Biomedical Science, or a related field.
• Relevant laboratory experience is an advantage.
• Competent in phlebotomy and laboratory procedures.
• Good communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Committed to quality, patient safety, and professional ethics.

Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
