Job Summary

The Storekeeper is responsible for managing daily warehouse and store operations, ensuring accurate inventory control, proper storage of materials, timely issuance of items, and maintaining organized records. The role requires close coordination with project teams, suppliers, and management to ensure smooth material flow and stock availability.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials, tools, and equipment against delivery documents.

Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock movements in the inventory system.

Issue materials and equipment according to approved requisitions.

Monitor stock levels and notify management of low-stock items for replenishment.

Organize and maintain the store in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.

Conduct regular stock counts and participate in periodic inventory audits.

Prepare and maintain reports on inventory, stock discrepancies, and material usage.

Ensure proper labeling, storage, and preservation of materials and equipment.

Coordinate with suppliers, procurement personnel, and project teams regarding material requirements.

Follow company safety procedures and warehouse best practices.

Requirements:

Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Storekeeper, Warehouse Assistant, or related role.

Knowledge of inventory management and stock control procedures.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and inventory management systems.

Good organizational and record-keeping skills.

Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Possess a valid driving license (preferred).

SPM/Diploma or equivalent qualification.

Working Hours:

Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Saturday (if required): As per operational needs
